Blarney! We had a wonderful little time full of music, fun, and adventure at our latest Master Class. The wee little lads and lasses searched for leprechauns, played an Irish harp, swatted some shamrocks, and walked away with a few chocolate gold coins obtained from the pot of gold at the end of our rainbow. They played a giant board game of gold coins answering music questions in order to roll the dice to advance. In a game of two, it was the first to swat the correct note on the shamrock who won the point. Playing the Irish harp was a fan-favorite, and as the class continued, students played a relay in which they had to place the right letter-note shamrock on the correct spot on our rainbow music staff. Throw in a wee little refreshment and the Celtic clan had a wonderful time.
Master Class is a wonderfully-fun group lesson in which students play music-related games to teach or re-enforce music learning. Don’t miss it!
